Rugby Deutschland and the payment company Unzer have extended their partnership for another two years. This means that one of the leading companies in this sector in Europe will continue to adorn support the rugby sevens team of the German Rugby Federation as a shirt sponsor.
"We are extremely pleased that with Unzer we continue to have an extremely reliable partner at our side," comments Florian Hartmann, Director of Structure and Development at the German Rugby Federation. When we started our cooperation at the beginning of 2022, initially for two tournaments, we had hoped that this would grow into a long-term and fruitful collaboration. Together, we have succeeded in doing so, and we look forward to continuing to work together and leveraging even more synergies - increasingly for our members as well."
Unzer not only takes care of membership billing, but also provides mobile cash registers for all international matches. The POS Go devices combine a cash register, card reader, receipt printer and scanner and, thanks to cloud-based software, can be used flexibly anywhere, for example in restaurants or fan stores. In this way, visitors can pay quickly, securely and cashlessly. Rugby Deutschland is thus once again underlining its focus on its fans and their wishes.
"The cooperation with Rugby Germany and the Wolfpack is a connection between two organizations that are equally committed to delivering excellence and driving innovation. We are thrilled to continue to be part of the national 7s rugby team's success story and look forward to the next two years of intense collaboration and shared success," comments Pascal Beij, Chief Commercial Officer of Unzer, on the cooperation.
