St. Pauli Announces Partnership with Payment Provider Unzer
Unzer becomes partner to FC St. Pauli. The payment specialist operates the EC card terminals in the famous Millerntor-Stadium and facilitates contactless card payments for the ticket shop, the St. Pauli fan shops, and parts of the dining area. Unzer now also supports the club as sponsor.
As payment partner to hotels, as well as numerous restaurants and businesses such as the Astra brewery, Unzer has a deep connection with the St. Pauli neighbourhood in Hamburg.
"Our objective is to make the payment process in the stadium as fast and hassle-free as possible, so that the St. Pauli fans can focus fully on the game," explains Sebastian Wenzel, Vice President of Marketing at Unzer. A whole host of card terminals are therefore set to be deployed in the Millerntor-Stadium, allowing fans to pay for their items both quickly and easily based on their own preferences.
