Aarhus, February 10, 2026 – Unzer, a leading European payment company, has expanded its business activities by launching its in-store point-of-sale (POS) solutions in Denmark. For years, through its subsidiaries Quickpay and Clearhaus, Unzer has provided online payment solutions to every third online shop in Denmark. Now, the company is taking the next step towards bringing its full product suite to its Danish customer base by also providing solutions for physical stores.
Unzer CEO Robert Bueninck explains the motivation: “With Quickpay and Clearhaus, we already support more than 30,000 webshops and handle over four million transactions each month. Now, we look forward to helping even more Danish businesses provide their customers with a smooth and effortless shopping experience – wherever they choose to buy. Introducing our in-store POS solutions to this customer base is a natural next step.”

Unzer is driven by the belief that technology should empower every business – not just the big ones. That’s why it focuses on supporting small and medium-sized merchants, giving them the same digital advantages as large enterprises. Unzer provides the necessary tools, technology, and support so these merchants can focus on serving their customers and competing effectively.
To offer POS solutions in Denmark, Unzer is working with payment technology company Verifone. The partnership combines Unzer’s experience with online payments and data integration with Verifone’s trusted payment terminals and software. Together, they provide Danish merchants with a reliable and easy-to-use solution.
In the coming months, Unzer will focus on bringing its unified commerce vision to Danish retailers by more closely connecting online and offline sales channels. The company plans to expand its software solutions and introduce POS acquiring under the Clearhaus brand to help merchants manage all transactions through one seamless platform.
Robert Bueninck explains: “Customers don’t want different shopping experiences depending on whether they’re buying online or in-store. Even small retailers now want to sell online. That means online and offline sales are becoming increasingly connected – and this is exactly the core of what we do. Our solution brings that data together in real time – and that’s what we want to bring to Denmark in the near future.”
"We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Unzer in Denmark! Unzer’s comprehensive payment solutions and our market-leading payment devices are a perfect match, creating a seamless solution for businesses of all sizes.
