Grevenmacher, 03.09.2024 - The payment company Unzer remains the Feller Markt payment partner in the Moselle Valley and will also be the patron in 2024. Like in 2023, the company will provide several mobile cash registers so that the expected 7,000 guests can conveniently pay by credit or debit card, smartwatch or wallet. Advance sales for the Feller Markt's famous wine-tasting event will also be possible locally in Fell via the Unzer POS system. The event will take place from September 13 to September 16.
Under the motto "The village in the tent," Unzer and the organizers of the region's most prominent wine festival want to implement cashless payment further.
"We are delighted about the renewed collaboration with the Feller Markt and the opportunity to support local events such as the wine festival," says Marc Blumberg, Managing Director at Unzer Luxembourg S.A." Thanks to our POS systems, visitors no longer have to go home because they have run out of small change. Instead, they can enjoy the evening carefree and cashless while we help event organizers optimize their processes and make them more efficient."
Unzer's portable mini cash register, which combines a card reader, receipt printer, and scanner, enables particularly flexible use thanks to its cloud-based software. At the Feller Markt, these terminals are used for ticket sales and in the catering area, allowing visitors to pay quickly, securely, and without cash. This eliminates cumbersome paperwork and long queues. The POS Go device software provides real-time sales data, allowing event organizers to manage their inventory and staff deployment optimally.
Pascal Beij, Chief Commercial Officer at Unzer, explains: "With just a few clicks, event organizers and winegrowers have a wide range of options that make their day-to-day work much easier. They meet the growing demand for contactless payment and benefit from cost savings thanks to more efficient processes and secure payment integration."
Unzer's unified commerce platform, UnzerOne, integrates sales, payment, and marketing processes across various channels and applications in one cloud-based system. This enables organizations to meet the growing demand for contactless payment, including at event venues or sales stands, while saving costs through more efficient processes and secure payment integration.
In 2024, the Fell Market will take place for the 73rd time and offer visitors an exciting supporting program. Michael Rohes, Mayor of Fell, emphasizes: "The collaboration with Unzer is a significant step forward for us. Our visitors benefit from the advantages of digital payments, while the intelligent checkout systems help us to make our offer more efficient and better respond to the wishes of our guests."
