Change in Unzer's Leadership
Berlin, September 20, 2023
Katrin Stark has decided to step down as CFO of Unzer for personal reasons with immediate effect. Unzer has appointed Adam Conlon as interim CFO to ensure a smooth transition and to support the company as it continues to strengthen its market position.
Adam Conlon has established a track record as a CFO in several private equity backed businesses, most recently holding the position of CFO at the Prospitalia Group. Prior to his CFO experience, Adam worked in Transaction Services at PwC, leading due diligence projects for private equity clients.
“On behalf of the entire Advisory Board, I would like to thank Katrin for her outstanding leadership and the great work she has done since joining Unzer”, said Martin Blessing, Chairman of Unzer’s Advisory Board. “Katrin contributed significantly to us securing Unzer’s newest funding, which has bolstered the company’s capital structure and liquidity, positioning it for the future. We regret her departure and wish her the very best for her future endeavours.”
Martin Blessing continued: “With Adam stepping in as interim CFO, we’re delighted to ensure continuity in our services for partners and customers, and as we continue to drive the company’s future growth plans. Adam brings highly relevant experience to the role, and the Board and the management team look forward working with him.”
Unzer remains well-positioned to make strategic investments that will further accelerate its growth, strengthen its market position, and help shape the future of the payments industry.
