TSG Hoffenheim announces Unzer GmbH as its new business team partner. The payment service provider and the Bundesliga football club have agreed to cooperate, allowing fans to experience the benefits of the partnership during their stadium visit.

In the PreZero Arena, Unzer GmbH will provide the modern EC-cash terminals, ensuring that TSG fans can pay safely without cash. "We are very happy about the cooperation with Unzer," says TSG CEO Denni Strich. "Unzer is a European company with customers all over Europe, but at the same time it is rooted locally. This combination of international ambition and local identity makes Unzer an exciting partner for TSG. The partnership will also help us enhance the fan experience by providing state-of-the-art payment options."

"We are thrilled about this strong partnership," says Pascal Beij, Chief Commercial Officer at Unzer. "TSG Hoffenheim as an innovative Bundesliga club and us as an agile, digital company – that's the perfect match. Although Unzer now has its headquarters in Berlin, Heidelberg is still an important location," says Beij. "Moreover, the brand awareness of our young company should grow significantly through our involvement in such a professional and highly emotional environment as Bundesliga football."

Unzer supports merchants and organizations in impressing their customers and fans with a seamless and intuitive shopping experience, regardless of where they shop and how they pay. The Unzer brand was founded in 2020 and brings together the expertise and experience of a total of 13 companies. This makes Unzer well positioned to simplify and bring together the entire value chain of payments on one platform, whether it's payments from home, on the go, or in store.

The company employs staff in eight branches in Germany, Austria, Denmark and Luxembourg and is majority-owned by the global investment company KKR.
